Seeking God

Biking as Meditation

Pedalling my Trek bike becomes a 14 mile rosary around Lake Monona. Each bead in my lake rosary is created with repeated revolutions of my leg muscles pushing my bike pedals. The revolving pedal rolled beads are bundled by air inhaled and strung by breath exhaled. Prayers are released as droplets of sweat. The blessings of creation increase in my heart with every mile cycled.

"Out of darkness, into light". In the light all colors are perceived. In the light all bumps are smoothed. " The way is made straight". In the light the horizon is eternal, no ending is in sight.

"Heaven is here". Not just here, but everywhere. Suffering can be self imposed. A painful choice. Freedom also can be positively chosen. Choose peace and see your Christ. She wants your comfort and joy. Your Jerusalem is here in your soul.
Then rest in the Glory which belongs to no one and is a gift to everyone just the same. "She makes us lie down in green pastures. She leads us besides still waters. She restores our Souls".

Rooted in God's Love

Worship and Meditation are the behaviors I repeat to nurture my connection to Creation. My life continues to expand. I am blessed from a mystery source. Rooted in darkness my spirit is lifted to Light. I abide. My thirst is quenched with the abundance of Her Creation.
