Seeking God
Biking as Meditation Pedalling my Trek bike becomes a 14 mile rosary around Lake Monona. Each bead in my lake rosary is created with repeated revolutions of my leg muscles pushing my bike pedals. The revolving pedal rolled beads are bundled by air inhaled and strung by breath exhaled. Prayers are released as droplets of sweat. The blessings of creation increase in my heart with every mile cycled.

"Out of darkness, into light". In the light all colors are perceived. In the light all bumps are smoothed. " The way is made straight". In the light the horizon is eternal, no ending is in sight.
"Heaven is here". Not just here, but everywhere. Suffering can be self imposed. A painful choice. Freedom also can be positively chosen. Choose peace and see your Christ. She wants your comfort and joy. Your Jerusalem is here in your soul.
Then rest in the Glory which belongs to no one and is a gift to everyone just the same. "She makes us lie down in green pastures. She leads us besides still waters. She restores our Souls".

My friend Ally writes to me to ask which form of rosary I pray. Well here's the true confession I am a heretic Catholic. I believe in the power of repeated prayer, but also believe the Spirit within me guides me toward my prayers and visions. Also as a bead artist I am tuned into the time intensive, repetitive stitching of beadwork.
